I'd feel more secure with the microchipped cards if more places actually required you to USE the technology. I usually only have to put in my pin on my card around once a month--I have to think hard to remember my pin# sometimes I use it so infrequently lol.
Cash is my first choice. We let the banks and corporations ram the debit and credit cards down our throats, and now we are stuck with them.If people knew before what we know now we would probably still using the good old dollar. But there is a reason for this and its a bit late to prevent it.

You do know that even with a
You do know that even with a chip card you still have to enter a PIN? With credit cards it just eliminates the need for a signature.
People need to get informed.
